• Hi all,

I accidentally pasted our website address in a code snippet (it was in the href attribute of some links in the code) when I was asking for help. It was an honest mistake and I never intended to reveal the website of my client. However, I was not permitted (by a moderator) to edit it out. If I had noticed it before pasting, I would have changed the href to “#” instead, as it had nothing to do with my question.

I see that I can delete my entire account, which I would now like to do. On the delete account page, it says I should first edit any forum posts to remove personal information. This is what I want! How can I remove all personal info (that was posted by mistake from the start – not like I posted it purposely and then changed my mind) – so that I can safely request account deletion?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hiya,

That is indeed a bit misleading, and a ticket has been created to improve the wording here to avoid any future confusion for others.

I’ve removed the two links in the original topic that led to this decision to erase your account. Although we don’t generally do that, this is more of a goodwill-exception due to the confusion incurred by the back and forth between forum systems and data erasure procedure instructions.
