Help with Installation

Hello, I’ve just tried to install the sc, but it’s not working for me. I’m sure it’s user error as I’ve never used a short code before!

I’ve installed and activated the plugin, and placed the code as I saw in the screenshot on the page.

But when I refresh the page on the site, it only shows the text I entered, with nothing to “click” to enter a vote. You can see what I mean here: https://indierecon.org/competitions/book-description-contest/vote-now-adult-fantasyscience-fiction/

The voting was supposed to go under the first entry.

Thanks for any help you can offer! We’re in a bit of a bind over here!
