Hi John, thanks for this plugin, it’s really helpful!

I’m trying to import a large list of server match redirections, and I’m having trouble getting a JSON file to import successfully.

I’ve gone through the help pages but couldn’t find an example – I’ve also gone through the example at https://redirection.me/developer/json-export/ and even modifying minimally from that doesn’t seem to work for me – for example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nttzhqbiyqfk07a/New%20document%202%20%283%29.json?dl=0

I keep getting: Total redirects imported: 0 – Double-check the file is the correct format!

I’m completely new to JSON so even if I manage to get one example working, is there a way to translate my list of URLs (currently in a Google Spreadsheet) to a working JSON import format?

Many thanks in advance for your help and your work on this plugin.

You can export a JSON file to get an example.

I doubt you will be able to export from Google Spreadsheets.

Thanks – modifying from the exported example got me going! In case it helps anyone going forward, for the full 500+ links list, I got Google Sheets to cobble together the text in the same format as the exported example, dropped it into an online JSON formatter, and it worked.
