Help with Layout Width

I am having a bit of a problem on this CSS stylesheet on the current theme I am using which is called Barthelme https://www.plaintxt.org/themes/barthelme/
I want the header to stretch 100% so that there is no weird white space up there.

I am not new to CSS or HTML, but for some reason I can NOT find where to change this, it says the page is 100%, but as you can see it doesn’t reach.
