Help with minor PHP Change

  • I have a theme where when re-posting (a function provided by the below code) a custom post type called project it is posting as a draft.

    I can see where the post type is being set to draft however simply changing this to published is not working. Any ideas?

    That’s not a theme that we have access to as it’s a commercial product we don’t have access to that code. Please do not post that again.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    The purpose of these forums is to provide support for WordPress and the software hosted here. That’s a commercial product and those are not supported here as that link I posted explained.

Doing this will provide the developer with the income they need to make WordPress awesome.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

    If you have an example from a theme or plugin in the WordPress repo then that’s something that can be helped here. Your question is specifically about modifying the code on that commercial theme.
