help with mod_rewrite after squarespace transfer

  • I have recently transferred my blog from squarespace to wordpress. In order to avoid broken links, I have a custom URL structure of /%category%/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%.html as squarespace posts end in .html

    Is it possible to use mod_rewrite to clean the url up to be just %postname% without breaking the links of the imported posts that end with .html?
