I have a multisite with MailPoet activated on two sub-sites. The plugin settings seem to overlap between the two sub-sites. For example, the FROM email field uses the same address even though the domains are different.

Digging around, I found the MS tab in MailPoet Settings but there is no documentation on how to use it and the built in descriptions are foreign to me. For example, what does “Configure SPF and DKIM independently for each site” mean?

I have used the plugin before for a small site and it worked quite well. So now I am trying to set it up for a large subscriber list and plan to buy a licence pending resolution of these multisite issues.

  • Hi, there’s an option on that tab, that you can allow each independent site to have it’s own FROM address. But make sure each website can also set it’s “send method” independently as well, then it’ll work. Let us know if you need further help with that. We agree that this is kind of confusing on the first time.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I eventually figured that out after playing with settings over the past two weeks.

My suggestion would be to move those global settings, the MS tab, to somewhere in the Network Dashboard.

We will change that for sure!

Ok, thanks. I recently signed up for a premium account. Now there is another “MS Bounce Handling” tab. Is that network wide as well or just for the sub site that has the premium subscription?

Also, I just tried to submit a ticket on your website but its not displaying in the tickets area and I’m not sure if you got my message. It froze when I click submit.
