Help with nora theme

  • Hey

    Hope someone can help me.
    It’s been ages since I made a website so forgive me for my stupidness
    II’m using the nora syle for my website but i cant find how to change (or rather add in my case) a background image. I also can’t find where to add and edit these transperant grey text boxes showed in the image below. if anyne could hel me i’d be very grateful

    Can it be that i miss some options? i.e. under appearance.customize there’s no such thing as general settings for me

    Hello Rapz,

    You don’t need to have general settings.Please go to customize>>Slider Settings>>Basic Slider Settings and then follow the steps here

    You then need to add the slider/s you wish to display.
    There are 5 slider options. Just go to Slider Settings>>Slider 1 and so on.
    The documentation clearly gives you the idea on how to add slider. Go through it again.

    Thanks for your reply!

    I can’t figure it out. From the documentation step two already doesn’t match with what I see, and when I add 5 different sliders it doesn’t do anything else but show that one post. Also when I want to click on the video tutorial it just links to the documentation again.

    Let me know if you can help me any further. If not, that’s okay, I’ll go back to my old theme ??

    Well Then please follow the steps here;
    1. First of all go to Cusotmize>>Slider Settings
    Then go to Slider 1
    a. Go to Select post for Slider one and choose the desired post
    b. Go to Slider 1 Button Link and write the desired button link
    c. Go to Slider 1 button Text and write the desired button text
    Go to Basic sldier settings and turn on show slider and show caption.
    2. Click save and publish

    Nope, it’s still not doing what I want haha. Maybe it’s simply not possible. But it’s okay! I’ve found a theme where I figured out what I wanted! Thanks for your time ??
