I think you should adjust the settings:
– posts per page
– add/move widgets to proper area (it looks like your sidebar is empty)
Images are displayed as designed. They are shown in full.

Let me know if it doesn’t help.

P.S. Just to clarify – it looks like you are using Penciletto child theme.

So sorry to bother you, but the only posts per page option I can find is under tab settings and whenever I try to change it past 10 it gives me an error stating the option does not exist. For the widgets, the demo Peniciletto site seems to use a single (non-slider header article) and underneath it just lists the latest posts with a sidebar. I cannot find any of the widgets that seem to match, do I have to to just mess around with it for a while or am I over complicating it?

error stating the option does not exist this is strange and looks like not related to theme. In demos there is always slider in use at the top – it just doesn’t “slide” when only one post displayed.

I am not able to organize my website like the demo, I only see widget options for a text list of popular articles and a few other useless theme widgets. Can you share with me how the Penciletto 1 Demo is layed out, as I may be missing some plugins that allow photos to be showed above article titles and some other important features.

Could you share some screenshots from the demo site – what parts you’d like to set up? I’ll be happy to help ??

Thank you, my problem is the organization below the feature slider. It currently appears as a list with images + author below but I want it to look more like the demo where it is two rows of articles or a feature articles section

Below slider in top section there are widgets from WordPress Popular Posts plugin.
In the sidebar there are mostly widgets from the same plugin.

Unfortunately this is a new revamp of the website so I can’t use a popular posts plugin right now, and the new posts widgets all seem to just list the post titles. Is there any way to get the same format with a set group of posts that I create? Thanks so much for your patience and assistance.

Sorry I have one last question (I hope). The featured images that I use on the site are all fairly large ~ 5000 X 3000 res images. I installed the suggested scaling plugin that you suggest on your site, but the images still appear very large in the vertical direction and are not as nice looking as the demo sites that you show off. Is there another way to change the size of the images? I have changed the settings in the WP media settings as suggested. Thanks so much.
