Help with pics

We run evolve for our blog. it has been some time since we used the blog and it has updated a lot. I have looked at how to add pictures to a post, but for the life of me it is NOT on the top task bar to do it. I always thought I was computer savvy enough to work this. I have tried for two days and cannot figure out how to do it. I used to think this was such an easy platform to use. Now I KNOW my coworkers couldn’t use it. Someone.. is there someone who can help?

Thank you @romik84. Your email is what helped me work out the issue. I was frustrated yesterday, didn’t know where the theme and wordpress were different, and I appreciate your help. This blog has sadly been on the back burner for about 6 months in our office and when I came back and it ran a bunch of updates (one of the updates included automatically checking a box in the profile that hid the editor buttons) I had no idea how to fix it or that little check box would be my whole problem of the day. I have since been forced to learn a lot more on how to operate WordPress, etc, but only out of sheer, absolute necessity. PHP, themes, Gutenberg Editor, were all language that was (and sort of still is) way above my pay grade as of yesterday. At least its fixed, and thank you again.
