Help with plugin not compatible with WooCommerce HPOS

    I am using a simple plugin to provide quantity increase and decrease buttons in WooCommerce. However, it is stated that it is not compatible with HPOS. The plugin is not updated anymore but it is the only one I can get to work on my Theme. Is there a way to manually change the code to make it compatible?

    I tried several other solutions without any luck. I have even tried to turn the plugin into a code snippet.

    In this case, you can do it in two ways.

    1. Simple remove the WC Tested upto: header from the plugin base file.

    2. Add HPOS compatibility declaration as per the WooCommerce developer guide here.

    Note: It’s not recommended to edit the core plugin file.

    @mujuonly awesome. The first step seems easy enough. It is a simple increment button so I don’t expect any issues with HPOS.

    There is also the official WooCommerce Zapier plugin that isn’t compatible, but apparently they are in contact with the WooCommerce team for it. There are some breaking bugs. I am hoping to test it in august before our sales season starts.

    @jamescollins thanks for the info. I did indeed send a direct mail about that.
    I just recieved the info that HPOS would only be the default for new stores. That does put me at ease a bit. I do however want to test it. Do you think it would be a smart idea to do so once everything becomes compatible?
    Would there be a real danger?
    I am, for example, on a shared server with a limited database and I did find a ticket on Github mentioning that it uses a lot of space.
