• Hey Guys!! So i have been using the TSG podcasting plugin, but I noticed it stopped updating with itunes. I don’t see what went wrong. So i switched to your version. Seems sweet so far.

My only trouble is that my stuff still is not showing up on itunes, or changing the directory dint work.

I have my podcasts here https://goodereader.com/blog/e-reader-radio/

everything up to the most recent never got added, no amount of pinging would change anything.

I then logged at my rss that you can subscribe too, but the path is coming up as invalid.

    https://goodereader.com/blog/feed/podcast/

so what is the new path to my feed that i should be using. I am at a total loss.

Which podPress version do you use?

The fact that https://goodereader.com/blog/feed/podcast/ leads to a 404 (Page not found) page indicates that something with your podPress Feeds settings is not right.
Make sure that this section at the Feed/iTunes settings page of podPress includes settings for a feed with the slug “podcast” and that this feed is marked as active.
(That is maybe already the case because https://goodereader.com/blog/?feed=podcast leads to a RSS feed.)
Further you should save the Permalink settings. That will make the https://goodereader.com/blog/feed/podcast/ URL an URL of a feed.
You need to save the Permalinks every time you change the status or the slug name of a podPress Feed (also after the first installation).

But there seems to be a further problem. https://goodereader.com/blog/?feed=podcast is a RSS feed but it is not valid. The feed contains one xmlns entry twice and in a wrong syntax (see for yourself with https://validator.w3.org/feed/).
One cause could be that the other podcast plugin is still active.
If this is not the cause then it might be the W3 Total Cache plugin which influences the feed obviously. Maybe deactivate it temporarily to see whether it makes a difference or not.

    Regards,
    Tim

I use the most recent version of podpress i dont know how to do the permalink thing you talked about. I disabled the w3total cache, but it made no difference.

Can i possibley pay you to muck around and fix it for me

I think I may have fixed it if you can confirm.

Yes, the feed looks good now. Do you know what made the difference?
