    Hello,

I have a friend who has a wordpress website that has suddenly become non functional. If you try to access the website directly, or the WP Admin it comes up with this error:

Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget_Media_Video’ not found in /home/bobdic2/drbobdick.com/wp-includes/class-wp-widget-factory.php on line 106

He has asked me to help him fix this by posting here – however I have no experience with this. I have tried googling and searching for info on this but cant find anything – or maybe I don’t understand it. If anyone could help me fix this for him I would greatly appreciate it – and I know he will as well.

    Thank you in advance.

The main website works for me and the WP Admin page worked. Were you still experiencing this issue?

If you are, I’d recommend re-uploading a fresh copy of the wp-includes folder from www.ads-software.com.

Hi Mik, when I made this post I didn’t see it show up on the forum or even under my profile. I figured it wasn’t working so I looked for help elsewhere and resolved it. I tried posting 3 times, so I hope not all of them finally appear.. Thank you for your respose though,I appreciate it.

What ended up fixing it was just putting a php file that magically disappeared back in. They said it was a glitch etc. And they have never seen it happen before.
