First, I am less than an amateur in WordPress but am trying to help an organization I volunteer with on their webpage. A professional firm created the WordPress pages as their own volunteer offering but is not now available to help with maintenance without a charge that the organization cannot afford. All of this is to say that WordPress makes no sense to me even after watching innumerable video tutorials and reading other documentation! Please keep this in mind when responding. This will be the first of various questions about fixing the page.

    The site: https://www.centrohispanotn.org/

Our homepage has a revolution slider that contains photos as well as some text. I have clicked on “Revolution Slider” on the left-hand side of the page, then found “Home Slider” and “HomeSliderLight” listed in there. I can’t find the text in either of these places (actually I can’t find anything I recognize in these!). Where might changes to the text in the slider be changed OR is it not part of the slider?

The text should be in bold white but now is black and is difficult to see. The last person to make changes is not sure what they did but it changed after they worked on the page.

    Thank you so much!

As that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

Thanks for the information and I understand. We who are left to work on the page didn’t know that what we are seeing is not all WordPress stuff. Since the person who developed the site probably has the purchase number and is not really available to help we’ll figure out something, maybe even change it. Thank you, again.
