Help with SMG Gallery WP about CHMOD

ok you get a white page when you go to view the gallery’s? view the index.php file, by the sounds of it there is nothing in it. If its the case, upload the index.php file i sent you again in place of the one thats there already

It takes a long time to load that page too. all your other ones are fine.

did you or anyone else happen to be messing with it for any reason?

no, nothing happened.
today when i browsed the gallery i got a white page, then i thought that it’d be better to change the CHMOD, I did. I changed it to 777, nothing happened, then 755 nothing and 666 nothing. I have send you email too, no reply cause I could give you access to see please.

How fix it asap? Ppl are complaining ??

i uploaded the sp_index.php you sent me 1 week ago again, I renamed it to index.php but same thing, white page or doesnt load, but ALL files are in the correct folder of my FTP ??

parisgv why are you renaming sp_index.php? YOu shouldn’t rename it as it’s part of the gallery – it doesn’t need to be renamed.

they told me to rename it, what should i do now?

heres what i get, SAME, lol, white page ?? oh and sp_index.php is CHMODed to 777, do Ive to CHMOD everything in 777 all files? Also, now that I changed back my index.php file to sp_index.php do I have to modify config or anything else?

we’re going to put something together to make the process easier – like a rough guide, and try to avoid double posting – i know you want help, but so do others and everytime you post a second entry instead of editing your existring one (the gap between your posts is about 30 seconds on average) you’re moving someone else’s post down who may have just posted. be patient and little courteous and EDIT your posts rather than double posting.

Meanwhile I’ll try to stick together a rough guide, or maybe Ennis will get there first – no promises, but i’ll try.
