Help with the pinboard theme

Hi, this is my first time working with wordpress.
I’m using the pinboard theme and was wondering if someone could explain in the most basic way how i go about creating content for each individual page? I’m just learning about sticky posts but dont think ive quite grasped how they work yet.

As you can see ive set the top image as a sticky featured image, the one below it with text is just a featured image. The top one im havppy with the position (but ideally i’d like there to not be a note about it being posted at the bottom of the page).
The second image is a mess. Ive tried to adjust the positioning using the ‘visual’ tab to edit it to the style i had in mind but i can’t seem to figure it out.
I basically have to make each page along the nav links full of content and photos but i can’t see a clean easy way to do this. I dont want each piece of content to appear as a blog post with comments features visible, it needs to look more like a website than an interactive blog.
Any help would be hugely appreciated!
