Hi guys – hoping someone can help. I can’t get my site’s title to show proper css styling. Black ops one is my preference but it either shows cursive or comic sans for some reason. Thoughts? I use cloudflare and WP Rocket in case that helps. It’s only happening in logged out UX.

    Hello,

I think Black Ops One fonts are the google fonts and you have not use the script of those fonts, that is why it is automatically loading the fallback fonts which is “comic sans” or “cursive” which is system fonts.

Try adding the script of Black Ops One fonts.

Amazing thanks, that makes perfect sense. Do you think downloading a google fonts plugin would be the quickest fix?

You don’t need to download that. Simply use the script in the header as you have used it for the Roboto fonts. Adding the script will load the fonts automatically.

Your font is working: see screenshot below.

Your problem is a stale cache: when you log out, you see a cached version of the page that was taken before you changed the font. I had to add a random query parameter to the URL (thereby bypassing the cache) before I could see the screenshot below.

Solution: empty your caches (both WPRocket and Cloudflare).
