Help with Wide/Narrow columns and SPG gallery

  • I just switched to the mx4 theme, and I’m having a heck of a time integrating this theme with SPG gallery. Seems that I cannot get it to display in widecolumn and the white narrowcolumn space is still showing.

    Can someone take a look and see what I’m doing wrong here? I’ve been stumped for days now ??

  • I don’t use that theme and don’t use SPG. However my guess is that the gallery script is looking for the index.php template (which has narrow column and white sidebar) and you probably want to use your single.php template for displaying the pics.
    You have to figure out where is defined which template is used for the gallery.

    I’m not seeing anything thats calling the index.php template file, but chances are I’m just overlooking it.

    I have it set to <div id=”content” class=”widecolumn”>
    , but this doesnt seem to be doing the trick.

    If it’s Kubrick based it will be in the header.php. There are some if_statements there whether to call or not the sidebar.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. I did a search for this last week and it came up with nothing. Today after finally posting about it, I read down further, and the solution is right in front of me.
