Help!!! WordPress Keep Prompting to Input Password When Inserting Picture

  • WordPress keep prompting for password when I want to insert a photo to the post. Previously I remember I did make the changes on the file permission to 755 could that causing the issue?

    Could anyone please help me up on this issue?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    All the plugins have been deactivated and the default themes was loaded also but the issue still remain. And I just deleted the whole wordpress and it still happen on the fresh new installation.

    Hmm.. Just wondering what went wrong with it. Am contacting the host to check whether there is any solution.

    Sometime this happens due to security settings on the server i.e. mod_security, Suhosin enalbed etc.
