Helpful Instructions

  • It would be very helpful if yourself and or all other plugin developers to also specify a few quick steps “how to” apply the plugin functions into the site, and or in this case the page.
    -You are only offering instructions how to install the plugin.. AND THEN?
    Because every developer does things differently how hard is to simply add another step on install saying: X. edit the page and find the icon in the Visual Tab to enable the page noindex, or find the plugin settings in Admin or whatever!!! It seems to me so simple yet non existent!

    -OK.. 20 or so minutes later after I found the actual plugin settings in Settings/Ultimate Noindex. I am in there and I see that I have to place the Page ID but there is no instructions as to the entire url or just “p=3777″ or post=3777” ??

    I would rather used it in the page edit itself as a checkbox or a feature bellow OR when click the QuickEdit or the ultimate best would be a link next to “Edit | Quick Edit | Trash | View | Noindex | which would make the page not index-able.

    This could be a very useful tool but common guys a little logic and help to all of us will do you very well!!

    I agree, particularly with regard to your second paragraph. I appreciate a plugin’s being free. But being too lazy to give basic instruction is nonsense.
