    this is recent so it’s not in the docs yet

    Haha, that’s awesome. Thanks for the heads up – so glad to hear this is now built in to EM! So is this available in EM 5.5? If so, is there any documentation available anywhere? I’d love to add an update to our blog post with this new feature, so any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Got it, is there any reference out there to what the new capabilities of this shortcode are? Can you specify HTML vs. no HTML? What does the “more…” mean? Are there other features we should know about? Thanks!

    not yet, we’ll be updating the placeholder docs page soon to reflect the new additions.

    the 50 represents the number of words, and more… is the link text you see when the text cuts off.

    there isn’t an option to specify no html (in those cases, users should just create an excerpt for the event), I guess that’s something your custom placeholder can do ??
