  • Hi,

Go to file manager in your host’s control panel > wp-content > Plugins and remove easy-digital-downloads folder.

    What is your php version?

It looks like there may have been an error while WordPress was installing Easy Digital Downloads. Try removing the plugin and re-installing it.

Do this on the “Dashboard” > “Plugins” page by finding Easy Digital Downloads in the list of plugins. Then click “Deactivate”.

When the page reloads, select “Delete” beside Easy Digital Downloads (which was just deactivated).

Finally, go to “Dashboard” > “Plugins” > “Add new” > search for “Easy Digital Downloads”. Click install beside it when it comes up.

    Hi,

Firstly, thank you both for replying.

Phil; I couldn’t actually get into the wordpress dashboard, all I got was this warning screen above.

Sajjad; With your advice I actually deleted the files via Coffeecup FTP rather than through the control panel, thankfully that worked!

Now to sort out the dire SEO stats!!

Again, many thanks for taking the time to reply.

    Regards

    Phil

    Hi all,

Firstly thanks to everyone that posts solutions on this forum. I have read many and they are always very helpful to me, so thank you.

I am having a similar problem in that my site will not open and I am unable to access the login page also. My website address is https://www.livestock-link.co.uk.

When I try to go to the website or the log in page I have the following message appear:

Warning: require(/var/www/vip12/sites/vip7135997/httpd/htdocs/wp-includes/post.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vip12/sites/vip7135997/httpd/htdocs/wp-settings.php on line 153

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/vip12/sites/vip7135997/httpd/htdocs/wp-includes/post.php’ (include_path=’.’) in /var/www/vip12/sites/vip7135997/httpd/htdocs/wp-settings.php on line 153

I have designed the site myself however I have little knowledge of web design, coding, or pretty much anything to with websites that is further then beginner knowledge.

Following some similar forum posts I have read, I have tried to log in to my wordpress account through the C panel on my web hosting (which is freeola). I cannot find how to log in though unfortunately, only to update the wordpress installation.

I would really appreciate any help on this matter.

    Thank you in advance,

    Adam
