Help!!!with key words

I am new to blogging, and new to WordPress. I appreciate the work you have done to make this an easy to uses blog. I am however, overwhelmed by your vocabulary. None of it means anything to me. I’ sure if I were to write to you about topics in my profession of plastics engineering the language would be equally confusing.
Here is my proble, I started the blog using WordPress. I loved the feature of linking the keywords to other blogs and spreading my posts. I moved the blog “grumpajoesplace.wordpress@wordpress.com” to a provider called “asmallorange.” My site is now “grumpajoesplace.com.” Since moving the site from WP to ASO the keywords no longer link to the WP blogs. The keywords search my site for similarly keyed posts, but not to WP. How do I get the keywords from the posts on my site on ASO to link into the WP system?
Please use language that is simple enough for an old man like myself to understand.
