    Hi,

I have big drop of my visitors over google (90%), and I can only find that I have hentry errors on google search console.
It is stated that my pages are missing “author” and “updated” information.

How can I add these information so this error can be removed for my pages.

    Website is: https://www.prometna-zona.com/

    Kind regards,
    Ivan

  • Hi Ivan,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

On pages in WordPress meta data like the author or date usually isn’t displayed and so there also is no structured data, but still WordPress will add the hentry class which is causing these notices in your search console.

You can get rid of these notices by using a plugin like: Fixes errors in Google Webmaster Tools.

I have already installed this plugin and activated it few days ago and I still have those errors.
Is it possible to fix this manually, like it is described here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/fixing-hcard-author-error/ ?

If you’ve already installed and activated the plugin, then you need to wait because it takes time until the notices disappear in your search console.

The theme itself already provides structured data where appropriate, so you can ignore the Yoast article because that already is included. But as mentioned, pages don’t have structured data and so you can install the mentioned plugin in case you care about this.
