Any indication of a specific error being generated?

Enable the debug logging feature then do a test transaction:
    https://s-plugins.com/using-the-debug-log-to-solve-issues-on-a-site/

Do you see any specific failures being logged in the debug log file?

Yes we do have the debug log file,

However, we don’t see any indication of an error.

    Thanks

    Hi.

This looks to be a bug in the plugin when Legacy API is enabled. We will get this fixed shortly.

However, I would STRONGLY recommend not to use Legacy API as it’s no longer developed neither by Stripe nor by our plugin. If you disable it just now in plugin’s settings, payment would be working fine on your site.
