Here’s an idea…

  • I really appreciated the “shortcode for current date” plugin. Here’s an idea for a new feature for this plugin, or an entirely new plugin: How about a feature that, in addition to computing the current year, would ALSO compute an up-to-date currency value?
    for example, in the WordPress page referenced above, search the phrase “equivalent to more than $700,000 in 2021.”

    I wish that I could make this page “evergreen” by having both the date AND the dollar figure Update annually. The dollar figure was derived from an online “inflation calculator, such as this one:

    So the plugin could query that database, or some other, depending upon the currency desired.
