I believe I have already hit that wall with FileAway. The last WP update is throwing an error in FileAway causing rendering problems with a list of folders.

Well, we upgraded to WP 5.8 without any hiccups in FileAway.

It is remarkably well written to have lasted this long without updates.

And such a great plugin of benefit to so many.

Sure hope some support might resume.

What do you guys use it for mostly?

Intranet files.

I’d like to see it updated as well, but given this answer in another thread I’m not sure this will happen: “I’m working three jobs and raising two kids. That explains why file away is neglected”

Send me an email if your interested in something else. I had it developed for my specific needs, but turns out it works well for others also.

I think we are now transitioning to Simple File List plugin (https://simplefilelist.com/)

Noting also that we have no connection — financial or otherwise — with above WordPress plugin just passing this info along in case helpful for other organizations.

File Away still works for me in WP 5.8.2
