H&F issue with Yoast SEO

    Hello, I’m new here. Have a question about clashing plugins. I’m using Yoast SEO but when I installed Header and Footer plugin to add Facebook Pixel (as well as FullStory tracker) it created issues with Facebook Open Graph (The product images were no longer appearing).

    So I deactivated Header and Footer plugin. But now I can’t add Facebook Pixel to the site nor the Fullstory code.

    Are there other plugins that do work with Yoast SEO or is there a way around this issue with Header and Footer plugin?

    Hi, on H&F be sure to deactivate the facebook settings, then there should be no conflict.

    Hey Stefano, thanks for responding.

    I have never checked off the Facebook settings. Eg I did not check the box that said: Enable the Facebook Open Graph metatag or anything else on that page.

    But there was still a conflict in sharing product links on Facebook. If I have the H&F plugin activated, the product image does NOT appear when I paste the link in Facebook. When I deactivate the plugin it starts working again.

    So any other ideas?

    No ideas. I need to have the source page generated when h&f is active and when not. Could you do that for me?

    Comparing the two sources we can try to understand the problem. Feel free to send them to me at [email protected].

    Hey Stefano, I am a bit of a novice in terms of code.

    Which pages are you looking for the source code from – the product pages?

    And if that is so, what’s the best way for me to view the source for those pages?

    Or I could activate the plugin and let you inspect the page. Would that work?

    If, when H&F is active, the facebook meta tag does not work you should check the page source (right click on the page and select page sourve or html) with and without the plugin active.

    Remeber that facebook is very slow lately to retrieve the image (they have a post about this problem) so you should do the tests everytime with a new post and a new image.
