The first thing to check is whether any other plugins on your site may have a conflict. Please check our Known Issues list here:
    https://jetpack.me/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/

You can also try to deactivate all plugins on your site, and then activate them one at a time to determine if there is a plugin conflict.

If that doesn’t help, please rule out a theme conflict by temporarily changing your site’s theme to a default theme (such as Twenty Sixteen) and trying again.

If the issue persists, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!

Very strange:The issue occurred on a network site with a Twenty Eleven theme, and no other (than the network wide) plugins activated. While another site in the same network, with a very similar setup (Twenty Eleven, no other plugins) did not suffer this issue.

So I (Super Admin) wanted to check the Jetpack debug page on that site but needed to connect my account to Jetpack to see the settings. And right after connecting with my WordPress.com account, the issue went away. No more blank pages, no more errors in the log file.

Another strange thing I notice: when I check the My Jetpack settings page, I’m the only account listed there. No other admins on that site have an active connection. Which surprises me because many Jetpack modules (among which the Comments module) where switched on and in use before I set up my connection…

A mystery. And it will probably remain so because I cannot reproduce the issue any more.

I’ll mark this as solved because (re)connecting seems to have fixed it. Thanks for your help ??

I admit, this is a strange case. But I am glad to hear that it seems to be resolved! Please let me know if you experience any further trouble, and I’d be happy to investigate further.
