High CPU usage – AJAX requests

  • Hello!

    My site has seen a spike in Ajax admin requests.
    I have a hunch it is caused by DIVI, but I cannot confirm.
    Can someone please offer advice how I can isolate and fix the issue!

    We use Siteground for hosting – they say it is caused by a plugin. Spoke to the folks at wpfixit and they say it is caused by the server.

    Here are examples of the Ajax requests:

    A lot of Admin requests with fbclid (Facebook Click Identifiers)…

    I have a hunch it is caused by DIVI,

    To make sure, try switching to one of the default (Twenty*) theme.

    Similarly, you can also check ALL plugins, one by one.

    Thanks, I’ll try a new theme. But if I leave DIVI, will the pages I built with the builder still function?

    Since Divi is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
