Hi everyone newbie help with custom template footer alignment

hi everyone im kinda proud of myself so far with intergrating my wordpress website with my main site. Im having trouble aligning my footer and my sidebar. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Further more in copying the code from safari like I was learned my profile status makes it look like the member has a gold membership and they are signed in already. ANY help is greatly appreciated. Im using a child theme of twenty eleven. Im using 3.5.2
