You can use the following function in the child theme.

if ( ! function_exists( ‘supermag_date_display’ ) ) :
function supermag_date_display( $format = ‘l, F j, Y’) {
echo esc_html( date_i18n( $format ,time() ) );
}
endif;
And also please don’t forget to change language in WordPress admin setting.
