Hid and show menus

Hi, I have enabled the ‘menu visibility’ and would like to hide a page to ‘logged out’ users. However when I check the button for ‘My profile’ and ‘Menu Item Visibility For’ > ‘logged in’ it hides the menu instead of showing to logged in users! However, if I check the ‘logged out’ it works as should. Please confirm that when I check either the ‘logged in’ or ‘logged out’ which hides or shows the menu item?
