• Hi,
I’m upset with this plugin – I installed, accidentally hid the pre-built folder of items for 2018, and lost a whole host of images. Now most of my images have returned, except for the featured images on my blog posts, which I was using to display as a resource library using Essential Grid.
Would love some guidance! I also don’t seem to have access to a cpanel or FTP?

I should note the page that displays the resource grid is actually https://dev.sabaptist.asn.au/resources

If sound like you have been able to partially restore the images. If you have a database backup of your site you can restore it to fix this issue.

If not, you will have to visit each post or page and reset the featured image.

Also, you will need to remove the mlpp-hidden file from each folder that you do not want to remain hidden.

Thanks Alan, I have done the above, however I still can’t see the images displaying in my Essential Grids. I have reuploaded all of the images as featured images on each post, and have tried creating new grids in the plugin. What do I do?

If you have uploaded your images to WordPress and they are visible in the Media Library then you can add to to your grids. It is likely that the pervious images will not display, since their records in the media library were deleted.

Thank you but I have reuploaded the images and added them to the grid, and when I create the grid it appears as though they are there, but when I add the shortcode to the site the images won’t appear. I’m worried this plugin has somehow corrupted my Essential Grids?!!

The old image ID are no longer valid. You have to find a way to remove the old images from the grid and add the recently uploaded images. Have you talked to Essential Grid support?
