I hid the wp-admin page using the last suggestion on this:
https://wpmudev.com/blog/hide-wordpress-login-page/. That has worked well for a long time.
There has just been a critical error on an Elementor widget plugin which is preventing access to the sedulity.uk for anyone except myself, and I am now blocked from the wp-admin page so can’t deal with the plugin problem ??
    Is there a remedy please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    This is the error message:

    Hi!
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, All-in-One Addons for Elementor – WidgetKit.
First, visit your website (https://sedulity.uk/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://sedulity.uk/wp-login.php) and check for any visible issues.
Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.
If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.9.4
    Current theme: Edumodo (version 3.5.0)
Current plugin: All-in-One Addons for Elementor – WidgetKit (version 2.3.17)
    PHP version 7.4.30
    Error Details
    =============

The recovery link given only gets the same message that intruders get when trying to get the wp-admin page:
“This feature is forbidden temporarily for security reason. Try login again.”

    Hi @timmichel,

I hope you are doing well today!

You can connect to your site via FTP or using File Manager on your hosting panel if you have, then rename plugin folder to deactivate it, then try logging in again.
As an example you can rename it to _widgetkit-for-elementor or 0-widgetkit-for-elementor
The folder you need to rename is …/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Website/wp-content/plugins/widgetkit-for-elementor

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

VMT Zafer, that’s a brilliant solution – worked immediately.
I wasn’t even aware I could get into the backend through the hosting panel!
Please take a few gold stars ??
