Hidden email address

    Hello,

    During the configuration, in the section “Informations about the website”, a popup message says that the email address will be hidden on the public interface to prevent malicious indexing. But on the “cookie policy” page of my website, this e-mail address is shown in the contact details…
    Did I configure the plugin wrong?

    Hello @nooka57,

    This is not an issue with the configuration. Complianz obfuscates/encodes your email address to protect it from bots that harvest email addresses.

    The “normal” email address will still be available & clickable on your website, but this obfuscation behaviour will make it difficult for bots to harvest the email address.
