I was wondering if on a drop down menu, can it be hidden so that a booking agent can select/assign an option to a drop down list before or change it after the booking is approved.

    Hi,

Do you mean to change the value of the drop-down in the dashboard area? Like the current “Status” drop-down that appears in the bookings list?

Please explain a bit more to evaluate the solution.

    Thank you!

Not exactly. When somebody signs up for an appointment our receptionist
Needs to assign that request to a person to do the work. A customer cannot select this only the receptionist can. So after the payment has been verified they can go into the appointment and assign a worker to the request.

I think there is a more simple question. How can I edit the fields once the booking is submitted. For example if I have a hidden field, there is no way for me to edit that field after the fact, once it has been submitted.

    Hi,

The feature for editing the bookings is available in the commercial version of the plugin. If you already have the commercial plugin please update to the latest version. Location of the edit feature:

To have a field displayed only in the for the admin edition you can indicate the style “adminonly” into the “Additional CSS Class” as displayed in the following image:

Note: If you mark the option “Send notification emails for this booking” while editing a booking (it’s unchecked as default) the customer will receive the edited booking info again, including the data added by the administrator.

For information about features present in the commercial version please post a ticket at https://apphourbooking.dwbooster.com/contact-us

    Thank you!
