    *Looks. That’s not nice.*

    https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/freshmail-newsletter/trunk/templates/google_url.php

    Which is required in these files.

    freshmail-newsletter/src/Plugin/Newsletter/Freshmail.php:350:				require(WP_FRESHMAIL_DIR.'/templates/google_url.php');
    freshmail-newsletter/src/Plugin/Newsletter/Freshmail.php:452:		require(WP_FRESHMAIL_DIR.'/templates/google_url.php');
    freshmail-newsletter/src/Plugin/Newsletter/Widget/FreshmailWidget.php:59:		require(WP_FRESHMAIL_DIR.'/templates/google_url.php');

    Yes, if you’re using the “pl_PL” locale then the plugin adds a link. That’s not cool. It’s hidden and only exists for search engine hits. Links like that are explicitly not allowed except with the user’s consent and need to default to “off”. See item #10 on this link.

    When you see this type of violation you can report it to the Plugins team via plugins [at] www.ads-software.com but in this case please don’t. I have already sent all of the details to them.

    Regarding #10 we don’t sure how to interpret it? The “powered by link” is hidden so it doesn’t show on the public site. You can always remove it if you want.

    We know that other ESP’s also include information about their solution on subscription forms.

    The plugins team has sent you an email, please deal with them in regards to this.
