A slide that was removed is still present showing the default image, how can I get rid of the slide? Metaslider says there are 5 slides in the slideshow, but I only see 4 slides. When I click on the slide, it takes me to a URL of a former slide that was removed. This happened once before and I had to rebuild. Is there a way to remove the hidden slide in the admin? I tried clicking Save again but it is still showing up on the front end and says 5 slides are in the slideshow.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

There are instances where users accidentally clicked the duplicate button not realizing that they are looking on a different slideshow and then wonders why the changes does not take effect.

Can you confirm if you’re using the correct slideshow? Currently, you have 2 slideshows running on your homepage. They have slideshow IDs of 182507, and 182531

You can check if you are looking at the correct slideshow by looking at the sample shortcode on the right side of your screen – https://share.getcloudapp.com/E0uyKXEv

I am seeing the correct slideshow. We only have two slideshows, one with 4 slides called channels and one with 11 called shows. While the shows slideshow is correct, the channels slideshow ([metaslider id=”182507″]) has only four slides listed in the admin area. However, you can see 5 slides in the rotation –

    Hi,

I might need to check your site directly for me to investigate further. But this is against WordPress guidelines. So, can you reach out to us directly on https://metaslider.com/ instead by clicking the beacon at the bottom right corner of the site.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
