Hidden text when using css to conceal byline and developed by

    I found the recommended way to remove the byline and the ‘developed by’ line from the theme was through css that hides it.
    Doesn’t that create hidden text that is frowned upon by google? Is there another way to do it without hurting SEO? I’ve been searching for the location where that code is created, and I just can’t find the files that do it.
