Hiddens forums & uploaded files

I have two requests:

1. Is it possible to keep the forums hidden until after the member logs in? If so, how do I do it?

2. Is it possible to upload/or store files on the forums?

I couldn’t find these answers anywhere but I’m new so apologize if I’ve missed it.

1) Look into something like Restrict Content https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/restrict-content/ or Restrict Content Pro

2) Right now only images are supported for uploads.
