Hiddenusers shortcode no longer working?

We use this plugin to generate a list of avatars on this page: https://edgeeffects.net/editorial-board/

Formerly, we hid two of those users, but it seems the hiddenusers shortcode stopped working. Is it no longer supported, or did something just change in a recent update?
