  • Just chiming in to say “me too”.
I mean, my subscribers are seeing a message saying “Sorry, but you do not have the correct permissions to install the Responsive Add Ons plugin”. How absurd is that? Subscribers aren’t supposed to install anything (not to mention they can’t)! Why should they be seeing this message at all?
For the time being I’ve resorted to hack the message, though it will be back in the next theme upgrade.

Ok, I will see what we can do.

I’m having the same problem and the same message.

Did anyone find out a way to remove it?

This was fixed in Responsive version 1.9.3.9

    https://github.com/cyberchimps/responsive/blob/master/changelog.txt#L72.

I still seem to be getting the errors even after updating to the most recent version.

    Is there something I’m missing?

I just tested and I do not get any notifications when the user not a admin.

In the initial post there were no errors but the notification was being to shown all of the users.

Perhaps you can share a screenshot of your issue?

I’m having trouble uploading the screenshot, but here is the exact message that appears on the “Add New Post” page for a non-admin user:

Sorry, but you do not have the correct permissions to install the Contact Form and Responsive Lightbox plugins. Contact the administrator of this site for help on getting the plugins installed.

Sorry, but you do not have the correct permissions to activate the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. Contact the administrator of this site for help on getting the plugin activated.

This does not seem to be to do with the Responsive theme or this plugin.

Please can you share your site and I might be able to point you in the right direction.

I’m using the Hueman theme that includes the Responsive Lightbox plugin etc.

    Here’s the site: https://www.eslexpat.com/beta/

You need to report the issue then here.

I just tried this and had some moderate success removing 2 notices…

In the admin account, I installed and ACTIVATED the Contact Form, Responsive Lightbox and Regenerate Thumbnails plugins.

Now a non-admin user only sees this one notice about the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin:

Sorry, but you do not have the correct permissions to install the Responsive Lightbox plugin. Contact the administrator of this site for help on getting the plugin installed.

    Dismiss this notice

Not sure why that one is still popping up. Any ideas?

This is a bug/issue with Hueman theme. Please contact the theme author for him to fix the issue.

Ok, I will post the problem there and see what they can do.

    Thanks for your help.

I have tried to install it but after install it I have faced a great problems, it is now saying that

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /home/u301312290/public_html/wp-content/plugins/responsive-add-ons/responsive-add-ons.php on line 121

So what is my duty in this time.. I can not open my webpage.
