Hide author name?

The theme customizer can show the author on the single post and archive layouts. However, these settings may not apply to blocks that provide the latest posts. If you’re using a Gutenberg block like the Latest Posts block, you can use the block settings to display or hide the author’s name.

I’m not using a Gutenberg block. How do I use a Gutenberg block for the latest posts? Do I need to use a plugin for this?

No additional plugin is required to use Gutenberg’s latest posts block. Check the documentation: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/latest-posts-block/

Can you share the website URL with us so we can take a look at the block you are using on the homepage?
Or can share the block name with us so we can guide you to hide the author name accordingly?
