• Hello,

I’m setting up a multi-author blog and I am wondering if the below is possible with your plugin.

I’d like to allow my contributors to create/edit their Biographical Info on their “Edit My Profile” page, however, I’d like to hide the biographical excerpt portion from their view. I figured out how to do this part in the “user profile settings” portion of the WP-Biographia settings page, however, I would still like their “excerpt” to always display on posts even if they edit their regular biographical info. Is this possible?

Currently, when I disable the excerpt from their view and they update their regular bio info, this one now overrides the excerpt even though I’ve set WP-Biographica to always show the excerpt on posts.

If this isn’t an option in the plugin settings page or via some other tweak, is there a DIV ID or class wrapping the entire Biography Options Box? If so, I can likely hide this with CSS via the Adminimize plugin. I just can seem to find a div id or class to work with.

Please help, would be much appreciated.

    Best Regards!

Ok, figured out a solution using the Adminimize plugin. I went into the wp-biographia.php first and simply added my own unique div around the right code and then used the adminimize plugin to remove the box on contributor profiles only. Tested and now the profiles don’t override the excerpt profile and the excerpt is still showing on posts. However, if there is a better solution please let me know.

    Thanks!
