hide blocks from specific use roles

I am trying to hide irrelevant blocks for specific user roles. I managed to to do so for all except one group of blocks, which is not listed. I tried another plugin that is capable of hiding blocks but again the same group of blocks were not listed. I was told that it must be to do with the declaration used by the developer of these blocks.
Is there a way to get around this and make these blocks detected by Editorskit?
