• Just installed this plugin for the first time, and spent half an hour trying to figure out why the recaptcha wasn’t displaying.

Of course I was logged in as admin, and by default the option to hide the captcha is enabled.

Might be best to flag this up to the user upon installation, or at least disable it by default?

That’s why the FAQ is always worth a read: https://betterwp.net/wordpress-plugins/bwp-recaptcha/faq/ ??

I will consider your suggestion though.

FAQ’s are like T’s & C’s most of the time. Nobody reads them (in the beginnning anyway) ??

I reckon making it visible by default would avoid any confusion, and then the option is always there.

I can’t get the recaptcha to work on my site. In put the api keys, added the tag to contact form 7, but nada.

I’ve reset safari, turned off my modem for 10 mins, still nothing. I even had 2 friends try the form, but they submitted without the recapture requirement appearing.

Can you help? I’d be happy to send login info so you can look at my settings.

Client is getting hammered with spam!

    Thanks a lot.

I got the same problem searching why the captcha was not displaying but happily I found this thread so I did not spend half an hour debugging ?? It would be nice to have a warning or disable this option by default.
