Hide categories/uncategorized

  • Hello Everyone,

    for some reason, a category called “Uncategorized” started showing up, is there a way to hide this? I can not delete this category in woocommerce now it seems.

  • I have this problem also. It didn’t “used to” show Uncategorized!

    I still have not figured this one out, it kind of went on the back burner for me as it’s not messing with the functionality of the site, just annoying. It probably happened during an update and I just didn’t notice.

    I’m having the same issue! Please fix!

    I have this problem and it’s really annoying. With all respect it doesn’t add anything good to my site and now I’m spending time trying to get rid of it. I see many people don’t like this “improvement”… Can WooCommerce just remove it to save us the hassle? I get why WooCommerce did this but something like “Other” would look less brutal than “Uncategorised”

    I wound up deleting it in the database, it has not caused any issues so far.

    Just because I have not had any issues, I strongly encourage anyone to proceed with caution doing this.

    It’s been a little over a month now with no issues.
