Hide custom posts based on author role – is it possible?

I’ve been trying to figure out how to hide custom posts on the frontend that were published by a users with a particular author role. Can’t use user ID as there would be xx number of users with the same role.

Does anyone know how this could/ would be done? Help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
