hide dashboard notification

    Trying to hide the admin dashboard notification/nag screen. Clicking on the the “x” or “Don’t show me more tips” does not work. Would like to avoid using a plugin to hide.

    What happens when you click in the “don’t show me more tips” link?

    Nothing, can’t hide the screen and it takes up a lot of real estate.

    It means there’s some sort of conflict with a plugin or the theme. Do you see any errors reported in the browser’s console?

    Could be a conflict as I have 37 plugins but I’m not having any problems with the other plugins, hiding their notification screens. Some errors but nothing that pertains to PixelYourSite, that I can see. I’m using the GeneratePress theme and that seems pretty solid. I do have some php code and the Code Snippets plugin (Or Elements in GeneratePress) and could hide that way. The problem is I know just enough to be dangerous! ??
